Congrats!! I read your book and was completely enthralled. I have a degree in Criminal Justice and Criminal Psychology and this book was something that appealed to me from cover to cover. Your writing peeled back the layers of time transporting and placing me on the roads next to Vacher or in the rooms with Dr. Lacassagne, Lombroso and witnessing the investigative techniques of Fourquet. I was amazed at the way you took such a graphic piece of our history and placed it on the pages in a seamless and effortless way. I thank you for your contribution. I will read it again and again.

    Mr. Starr,
my name is Frankie, and I have a question for you on the book of: “The Killer of Little Shepherds”. I read that you researched the case by reading some of the case files. Are they published somewhere? For the life of me I cannot find any case files on Joseph Vacher or the investigation from Dr. Alexander Lacassagne. Thank you.
This is the first book that made me want to research more about the case. Thank you, very well written.
